Most of you probably don't remember me, it's been awhile! (Since high school for me which was a long time ago). Back when SoM was more than a board and kicked some serious butt back in the Natural Selection hoo haa.
Anyway. I was taking a trip down memory lane and clearing out some old files and found some stuff I had saved in some random folder, where away hidden were old logins for the sit and a few posts, etc. Of course a certain terrible video we may or may not remember.
All in all it's good to know you guys are at least still around and enjoying yourselves. I don't know how often I'll be around or anything due to work, but I just wanted to pop in and say "Hey" I suppose.
I did notice you had a small free2play MMO thing going on with some veiled references to perfect world. I actually work for a Video Game publisher now which, since those days of screwing around and shooting people, I've always wanted to be.
Anyway it's good to see everyone is alive Hope you're all rocking as hard as ever, and will tip your hat to the spastic and rather insane man that was once known as "Capt.Ahab"

Memory lane is always a fun place to visit dude. For the most part, everyone will (Or should) remember you. Most of us are still around, and even game together a lot.
Death and myself are online all the time, and play a lot of good ones that are out there right now. (DemiGod, Project Reality(BF2), Neotokyo(HL2), TF2, Soulstorm, SupCom:FA) I also got on a rush of downloading nearly every Free MMO out there, and play a lot of perfect world, Imagine Online and now Gates of Andaron(WoW Clone).
That is great with you working for a game publisher. Since we were last really active with one game, I have changed a few things as well. Got out of Active Duty AF, and now am in the Air Guard as their Information Security person, but I end up doing a jack of all trades thing, and I love it. It is a civilian position so I have a nice high GS grade and it has been really good to me. Lynn and I celebrated our fifth year Anniversary back in June, and we just did her birthday yesterday as well. I am nearly done with school, and I only have three more classes that I know of, and I should be done and graduated, so I will finally have lots of free time again. Should be just in time for NS 2 when I think of it. _________________ "The one great thing about lifes problems is that life is only temporary" |

| I didn't that Bens plays NeoTokyos.....where does Bens usually play? It'd be interesting if we crossed paths. Keep an eye out for player name Gradient, would be fun to play a few rounds. |

Hope you don't mind if I post here, too, because my situation is a bit akin to your own - though I am nowhere near worthy of the renown of Captain Ahab. I've been meaning to get back in touch with you guys for quite a while, but between the heavy course loads of college and now the graduate courses/craptacular wireless of graduate school, I got sidetracked. Well, that and perhaps a few overly entertaining single player games (Fallout 3, not so bad with enough mods). All the same, I remember you quite well Ahab - good times indeed. I hope to be more active myself, but with an average source/orange box game ping of 1400+ past four or so in the afternoon (EST) it can be difficult. Most of what I've been doing multiplayer is Killing floor before the start of the worst of the lag - though NeoTokyo isn't too bad, nor is L4D2 (though the lag makes me feel like I waste the whole lobby time and such). Fallout 3 has been a major diversion for me, though I'm having to reinstall it in hopes of repairing some of the damage done by overmodification. _________________ Zombies... zombies...

Captain Ahab,
Funny story actually, not sure if you will remember us but myself and RwRyNe are preparing for the launch of NS2 and I asked him if he remembered the name of the clan we used to be in. He told me "Sons of..." and couldn't remember the last part. So I used Google and searched "Natural Selection Clan Sons of" and low and behold a video from 2003 popped up in the results with your name on it, instantly ringing a bell and leading me to a link to these forums
Link to said google result: http://www.archive.org/details/nsgonewild
Anyway I got on here and recognized a few names, Inflames for instance, was wondering if Ryne and myself are memorable enough and if so we are interested in getting back on board for NS2. |

| Sorry for the necro bump but i remember making that certain little video well, I was at Tech's house that day when it was being made. Omg good memories. However it is good to see you and nice to know you are alive and well. Hello to the rest of you guys as well I cant wait for NS 2 I am hoping some of you will join me in a little reunion in that. I know I have already gotten all the KoD people grouped and ready to go on game day so lets cross our fingers and hope we cross paths. |

Honestly, I have been pretty into the ole League of Legends. I had never really done much with DOTA for W3, but I really got into it lately. NS 2 is making solid progress in the alpha, and actually, I was going to check it out again today after they made a few patches. _________________ "The one great thing about lifes problems is that life is only temporary" |
